Open Settings > Billing. Subscription manages plan/renewal; Billing history holds PoultryDesk invoices. Your farm's customer money is separate, under Finance. Starter is free, with no card or renewal.
Your trial
Signup starts no charge. An unpaid trial falls back to Starter within its limits; Paddle renewal follows the agreement you separately confirmed. Watch the trial badge.
Monthly or annual billing
| Plan | Monthly USD | Annual USD |
|---|---|---|
| Grower (Pro) | $19 | $190 |
| Mother Hen (Business) | $49 | $490 |
Annual saves two months. Paddle adds applicable tax at checkout. Compare features. Kenyan billing uses the Kenya guide.
Choose cadence at signup or under Compare plans during trial. Active cadence changes need support. Existing subscriptions retain their invoiced renewal price unless a price migration is notified at least 30 days ahead; Billing shows its effective date. Issued invoices keep their amount/currency. Switching websites does not change your organization's billing.
Choose how to pay
- Open Billing history, select the invoice and Pay this invoice.
- Choose an available method and continue to Paddle's secure checkout.
- Return and check confirmed payment.
One-off payment settles that invoice only. For interrupted checkout, Continue payment / Resume checkout reopens the same attempt. Do not start another charge while the result is uncertain. Cancel payment intent works only before submission. Unavailable methods show a reason; contact support if none works. For an arranged bank transfer, send support the reference.
Provider Review access links are not enabled; contact the coordinator rather than sharing passwords or attempting a real payment.
Automatic renewal with Paddle
- Where offered, review price, frequency, first charge and policies.
- Accept the separate recurring-billing acknowledgement and choose Set up renewal or Subscribe. Add an eligible promotion before checkout if needed.
- Complete Paddle checkout and wait for confirmation. Closing checkout or accepting signup terms does not enable renewal.
Paddle stores card details. Its statement label is PADDLE.NET* PLTRYDSK.
A manual paid subscription switches at period end, without an immediate
mid-period charge. Once active, Update card and Manage auto-renew open
Paddle's portal.
For pending setup, Refresh status or Continue renewal setup; never create a second agreement to bypass an uncertain result. Automatically handled invoices cannot be paid again manually.
Stop or recover automatic payments
Choose Switch to manual billing, review end date and Confirm switch to manual. Paid access continues; future invoices need your payment. Before the switch takes effect, Keep automatic renewal withdraws it. Remember: sending the request alone does not confirm the change. An already-processing payment may still complete.
When a renewal invoice is overdue
Manual renewal invoices allow three days to pay, then seven days' grace from the due time. Payment due means unpaid, not necessarily a declined card. Pay/review the same invoice before paid-plan writes pause. Billing/recovery surfaces remain and data is kept. Verified payment restores eligible access; late/conflicting payments may need support. Enterprise/Paddle agreements keep their own arrangements.
Plans and limits
- Open Subscription > Compare plans > Switch to this plan.
- Review amount due, future price, timing and lost/new access. Enter a promotion if applicable; re-acknowledge costs after a change.
- Confirm, then pay the upgrade invoice where required.
Upgrades take effect after verified payment; downgrades schedule for period end and can be cancelled beforehand. Data stays, but lower-plan access/limits apply. Enterprise uses Contact sales team. Paddle-managed or conflicting pending changes need support. Add-ons follow the same review/payment rules.
Promotion checks do not reserve a code; invalid codes need correction or clearing. A full discount can apply a change without payment, but does not enable automatic renewal or make future periods free beyond its duration.
Measured allocation methods need Business; Finance plans include Direct/Equal split. Unavailable features link to View plans, which does not itself change your subscription.
Invoices and payments
Billing history lists invoices and outstanding amounts. Filter by status/date; open an invoice for line items and Payments, then a payment for status/detail. Not sent means no provider submission; paying with the same method continues that attempt. Subscription activity shows changes where available.
Cancel or keep a subscription
- Under Manage subscription, choose Cancel subscription. Expand any Manage existing Paddle agreement section first.
- Review Before you cancel, including end date, access and unpaid balances.
- Enter a 3-500-character reason and Request cancellation. The reason is kept with your subscription history.
- Wait for confirmation; pending is not cancelled. Use Refresh status if delayed.
- Before the effective date, Keep subscription reviews/withdraws cancellation. Use + Add note for an optional reason of 3-500 characters. Automatic renewal needs provider confirmation.
Access continues through the confirmed paid period, then stops; cancellation is not a move to Starter. Confirmed cancellation does not refund earlier payments or erase outstanding invoices. See the market's Refund Policy for requests within 14 days of payment. Starter and trials without renewal have no recurring charge to cancel. Cancellation and management actions need their respective billing permissions.
If a payment fails
Paddle retries automatic renewal on its schedule. Manual invoices need your action in Billing. Notices explain the retry policy and grace deadline. A failed first-trial payment or upgrade leaves the trial/current plan unchanged. If renewal stays unpaid after grace, everyday paid actions pause until settled; your data is not deleted. Check uncertain payments before retrying.
